This policy describes how Glow & Gather (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit glowgathercandles.com or place an order with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order or send us a message, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, and any message content you share.
Payment information. Your payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation from Stripe along with a summary of the transaction (amount, last four digits of the card, billing ZIP).
Information collected automatically.Like most websites, we log basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited, referring site). This is used to keep the site running and to understand how it’s used in aggregate.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders
- To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and responses to your questions
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- To comply with legal obligations (for example, tax records)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly sign up for them.
Who we share information with
We work with a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf. Each is bound by their own privacy terms:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Shippo (shipping label generation and carrier rate quotes)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
- Sanity (content management)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Carriers such as USPS or UPS for delivery
We may also share information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights and the safety of our customers.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep your shopping cart working and to operate the site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Your browser lets you control or block cookies at any time.
How long we keep your data
Order and transaction records are kept as long as needed to run the business and meet legal requirements (typically seven years for tax purposes). Contact form messages are kept for as long as they’re useful for responding to you, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we have
- Correct or update your information
- Delete your personal information (subject to records we’re required to keep by law)
- Opt out of any marketing communications (every email we send that isn’t strictly transactional has an unsubscribe link)

Children’s privacy
Our products and site aren’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced on this page.
